The Legion 

The Legion at Riverview was originally known as The American Legion. The building was built in the 1950's as a place for local service members to fellowship and entertain guests. The McGraw's, the current owners of The Legion at Riverview, have admired this piece of property for years. The local legion members decided to move locations in 2017. The McGraw's took the challenge with great excitement to renovate this building and become the new owners of the Legion at Riverview. Owner Alesia McGraw stated "My husband was the one who kept saying we could renovate the building and have a venue with the most spectacular view of the Alabama River in the entire state." The possibilities were endless for this breathtaking 3-acre lot in the center of the Alabama Riverbend. 

The Legion at Riverview is officially open as a venue Summer 2019. The inside offers 2400 square feet of heated and cooled floor space, a full-size bar, two beautifully renovated bathrooms, an open foyer, and a full-service kitchen. This venue is perfect for just about any size crowd. A large crowd can accommodate hundreds while opening up the automatic slide up full view door and join the indoor area with outside pea gravel patio, front porch, spacious yard, viewing deck, and the beauty of the Alabama River.
